Several tactical, strategic and theoretical issues of wider interest are the subject of open debate within and around the UCPN-M.
Introduction
The examples here are not intended to provide a good summary of the various issues and positions but merely to illustrate that this is indeed a genuine mass based Communist Party actively encouraging vigorous public debate.
Negation and Dogmatism
The first two examples are from January 2009 "Red Star" Volume II number 1 and 2 (issues 21 and 22).
The second, On Dogmatism by Laxman Pant is not a direct reply to the first, but clearly takes a strongly opposed position on some views advocated in the first, Negation of the Negation by Roshan Kissoon, a freelance journalist who writes for "Red Star".
